Nicholas
Originally from Michigan, Nicholas grew up immersed in the arts, thanks to his mothers home studio and time spent in the Arts Faire circuit. He attended the Flint Institute of Arts and the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. His art has been exhibited in art centers, cafe's, and galleries across the United States.
After 20 years working as a journeyman in the painting and construction trades, Nicholas' training and certification of lead safe practice, dovetails into the heritage craft of leaded stained glass window glazing. In 2005 Nicholas apprenticed in leaded stained glass construction while working as a studio assistant for master craftsman Tony Ramierez, who owns Ram Studios in Stockton, CA.
Open since 2019 Cathedral Glass Co is a full service stained glass studio, providing restoration, repair, and commissions for projects large and small, historical and sentimental to the Portland, OR and surrounding areas.
Madeline
Madeline has been working at Cathedral Glass for the last 2 years. She is also a fellow stain glass artist with her own business PNW Glassworks. She is a current member of the Alberta Street Gallery where her work is exhibited.
She has showcased work at the American Glass Association in Tucson, Arizona.
